We, PipeSystemConsult GmbH, take the protection of your personal data very seriously. To us, the protection of your private sphere is of utmost significance. We consider compliance with the statutory provisions (e.g. EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and German Telemedia Act (TMG)) as a matter of course. We would like to briefly explain how we protect your data and what it means for you when you provide us with personal data below.

1. What are personal data?
Personal data are information on the basis of which your identity can be established, such as your name, address, and telephone number. It does not include information as to which page of our Website is accessed from a particular IP address or which browser a server uses to access our Website.

2. Does PipeSystemConsult GmbH collect personal data?
PipeSystemConsult GmbH only collects necessary personal data for purposes that you permit. You can visit all areas of the site without disclosing personal data. We ask you for personal data when you send us inquiries. For these purposes, we need at least your e-mail address. We will not forward your address to any third parties. Moreover, please note your right of revocation as specified in section 10.

3. What happens to the stored personal data?
We only disclose stored e-mail addresses at the request of the police or prosecutors or after obtaining a written or electronic declaration of consent. We store other personal data that you give us in connection with inquiries on protected computers in Germany. We use the data exclusively for purposes that you approve and designate in advance.

All our employees are under the obligation to maintain confidentiality pursuant to Section 5 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). We have taken technical and organisational measures in accordance with Section 9 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) to protect your data and make sure that our partners also take suitable data security protection measures.

4. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that can be stored on a web page visitor’s hard disk. They enable you to personalise web site settings. Moreover, we use cookies to analyse the use of web pages in anonymised or pseudonymised form, to identify general preferences of a user and to present services to the user on the web pages in line with his preferences. 6. Web analysis/social media services
In part, we use Google Analytics on our websites, a web analysis service by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which allow your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. Google uses this information in order to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities for the website operator, and to provide further services connected with the use of the website and the use of the internet.

Google may also forward this information onto third parties, in as far as this is a legal requirement or in as far as third parties are processing such data on behalf of Google. Google does not, however, connect your IP address with other Google data under any circumstances. You can prevent the installation of cookies by changing your browser software settings; we must, however, point out that if you do so you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. By visiting the website you are giving your consent to the data collected about you by Google being processed in the aforementioned way and for the aforementioned purpose. As part of our commitment to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have adjusted the Google Analytics data retention controls, so that visitor data such as cookies are only retained for the minimum period and are afterwards deleted.

So-called social media services have been integrated into our website. These enable you to recommend content on our website to others. These are solely integrated on our website in the form of links to the respective social media service. After clicking on the integrated icon, you will be transferred to the respective provider, i.e. only then will user information be transmitted to the respective provider. Information about how your personal data is handled when using their websites can be found in the respective data protection declaration of the individual provider.

We do not assume any responsibility or liability for the offers of third-party web sites. However, we will do our best to ensure that our partners observe data protection policies similar to ours.

For every request, the access data are saved to the server log.

The saved data record contains the following details:

– Your IP address (for clear identification of your computer)

– The remote host (name and IP address of the computer that requests the page)

– The time, status, amount of data transmitted, and the Internet page from which you accessed the requested page (referrer)

– The product and version information of the browser used (user agent)

10. Right of revocation
You can always revoke your permission to use your personal data in the future. For this, you are required to furnish valid proof of your identity as owner of the data. To assert your right of revocation, simply send an e-mail to info@pipesyscon.com. We will process your notice of revocation without delay. In this case, we will include your personal data in our “contact blacklist” in order to make sure that you no longer receive any contact. If you expressly request the data to be deleted, this can also be done, although in this case we cannot ensure that you will not receive any contact within the scope of future campaigns.

11. Right to information
Pursuant to Section 34 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), you are entitled to information. Information on the origin and recipients of the data will only be withheld if the need for protection of company secrecy has priority over the subject’s need for information.

You can at all times request information, free of charge, on the data stored concerning your person. The information will be provided without delay in accordance with Section 34 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and will contain the data stored concerning you, also insofar as they refer to the origin of these data, the recipient, or categories of recipients to whom the data are forwarded, and the purpose of the storage.
